Childress Gaffney Auctions finds inspiration in art and design. We are moved by the passion of artisans and hold an appreciation for the great things we have owned and sold.  Being avid collectors ourselves, we have chosen to utilize our expertise and launch Childress Gaffney Auctions.

Miller Gaffney

Miller Gaffney has a wide-ranging background in the art world. She founded Miller Gaffney Art Advisory in 2006 and is an art consultant and certified appraiser. She is a member of the Appraisers Association of America, International Society of Appraisers; and an auctioneer. She appeared on the Antiques Roadshow and starred on the PBS series Market Warriors and Ovation’s Art Breakers. Miller is a native of Greenville, South Carolina, a graduate of Baylor University and Sotheby’s Institute of Art.

Karen Childress Clardy

Karen Childress Clardy has great expertise in the jewelry industry. She began Childress Jewelers in 1989 in Greenville, South Carolina and successfully owned for over 20 years. Childress Jewelers carried Karen’s unique designs, designer brands, as well as antique jewelry. She is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America and obtained her BA from Furman University and an MA in Art History from Academy of Art University, San Francisco.
